The unified access to different modelling approaches under the same visualization platform allows users to compare assumptions, parameters, and differences between outputs based on different assumptions, allowing users to learn key concepts of infectious disease dynamics, and to explore the influence of different modelling assumptions as well as the impact of control interventions. An important feature of “Epidemix” is that, whilst easy to use, the epidemiologically essential complexities of the model remain intact, without the user having to learn the maths and programming languages behind it.
Epidemix has been developed for desktop computer use and is currently not optimised for mobile devices. We recommend using the latest version of Google Chrome or Safari for best results when using Epidemix on a desktop computer.
